WESTSIDE COMMUNITY PARK COMMITTEE
MINUTES OF November 5, 2008


The meeting was called to order at 6:00pm by Chairman Ron Raetz.  There was no Treasurer’s Report.
Ron reported the following,
Peters has installed 600 feet of drain pipe.  The City’s inspection indicated the compaction of the soil was not sufficient.  It will be recompacted at Peters’ expense.
The flow on the new well has been calculated at 1.75 gpm.  This is not sufficient.
Konocti Youth Soccer League will make repairs to the Phase I fields following the completion of the flag football season.
In the spring, the committee may wish to consider purchasing dirt from the property adjoining the Sentry Market in Nice.  The Schillinger Brothers have dirt there.
Mr. Witt may be interested in selling his five acre home site which is surrounded by park land.

The ANNUAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS was called to order by Chairman Ron Raetz at 6:28pm.
It was moved by Sharon Salvador, seconded by Dennis Rollins to elect Carol Thorn to a four year term on the Board.  The motion was passed unanimously.
The ANNUAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS was adjourned at 6:29pm.
